Refund policy

I. Cancellation Terms, Penalties, and Termination by CLIENT
1. If this Agreement will be terminated by the CLIENT, the cancellation terms and conditions set forth at the time of booking the products and services from the COMPANY shall apply:
A. All cancellations and/or termination of tour services made by the CLIENT forty-five (45) days before the service date are subject to charges and penalties of 100% of the total tour cost.
B. If the conditions in Clause 5.1.A will not suffice for the type of tour service or arrangement made by the CLIENT, the specific cancellation terms set forth on this booking form that is communicated and agreed upon by the CLIENT and COMPANY will be followed.
C. Tour Services: the following cancellation terms and conditions shall apply to the tour services below:
C.1 Reservation Fees or Deposit Fees: The deposit fee (reservation fee) collected from the COMPANY’s Collective Tour, Group Tour Packages, or All-in Packages is non-refundable but transferrable for use to other products and services as “Travel Funds” offered by the COMPANY. Any operational costs and penalties applicable due to the termination of the CLIENT will be deducted from the travel fund of the CLIENT.
C.2 Airline Tickets: the cancellation terms & conditions of the relevant airline & JTB’s ticketing department shall be applied to any termination made by the CLIENT.
C.3 Japan Rail Passes: The exchange voucher issued is subject to a 20% penalty fee. Re-issuance of the exchange voucher to extend the validity for exchange is allowed for PHP 1,000.00 per voucher.
C.4 Admission Tickets, Railway Passes, Day Tours, and Experiences, Wi-Fi Rental, and luggage Transfers: any cancellations made are non-refundable and non-exchangeable to other service dates once these confirmed and/or issued tour services are terminated by the CLIENT.
C.5 Visa Processing Services: cancellations made by the CLIENT in relation to any visa processing services shall be subject to the following charges: (a) fifty percent (50%) of the total fees upon confirmation and payment of the visa services; and (b) one hundred percent (100%) of the total fees upon submission and assessment of the required documents by the COMPANY. No refunds shall be granted once the visa application has been submitted to the relevant visa center or embassy, including in cases of visa refusal, denial, deferred submission, withdrawal, or termination of the application. No refunds shall likewise be permitted for cancellations made beyond the calendar year of the original transaction date. All visa processing services purchased under special or promotional rates shall be strictly non-refundable.
C.6 Visa Vouchers from the website: purchased unused visa vouchers are refundable with 20% charges from the total booking amount.
2. Any cancellation of the booking or partial cancellation of the tour services shall be notified by the CLIENT in writing and acknowledged by the COMPANY. 
3. If this Agreement is terminated by the CLIENT without the COMPANY’S prior written consent, any deposits and prior payments made shall be forfeited and the balance of the price under this Agreement shall be due immediately to cover for the operational costs incurred by the COMPANY.

II. Cancellation by the COMPANY
The COMPANY reserves the right to cancel the tour services any time before the service date. The COMPANY may recommend an alternative tour service to the CLIENT. Should the CLIENT decide not to accept the alternative tour services, all payments made by the CLIENT shall be refunded in full without further obligation or liability on the part of the COMPANY.

III. Amendments by CLIENT
1. No amendment, alteration, or modification of this Agreement or any provisions of this Agreement shall be effective unless made in writing and signed by the authorized representatives of the parties hereto.
2. A request for an extension or deviation of stay at the end of the travel arrangement shall only be attended to by the COMPANY upon the CLIENT’S written request. Confirmation of an extension or deviation of stay is subject to the availability of air tickets and accommodation before the commencement of the trip. The extension or deviation of stay will be at the CLIENT’S own expense. Transfers to and from the airport shall not be provided. When the extension or deviation of stay requested cannot be confirmed three (3) weeks before the departure date, the CLIENT who made the request is deemed to be taking the original tour schedule. Any cancellation of the Tour is not permitted.
3. Any amendments made after confirmation of any services will be subjected to an amendment charge by the COMPANY for the additional administrative and operational services provided. The CLIENT shall also be responsible for paying for any additional charges and levies imposed by any third party supplying the services as a result of the amendment.

IV. Amendments by the COMPANY
The COMPANY reserves the right to alter the Tour services, itineraries, travel arrangements, and hotel reservations at any time due to unforeseen circumstances without compensation. The COMPANY shall endeavor to substitute a suitable arrangement of similar value or standard where possible.

V. Refunds
1. The COMPANY can only process validated refund requests made by the CLIENT. The regular refund process may take at least four (4) weeks upon submission of complete documentary requirements (such as official receipts issued, CLIENT refund information sheet, and travel documents issued) to the COMPANY. 
2. After the commencement of the Tour, no refund will be made concerning unused services, products, tickets, ground transportation, meals and accommodation, admission to tourist attractions, sightseeing tours, or any other travel inclusions not utilized by the CLIENT.
