Welcome to JTB ASIA PACIFIC PHIL. CORP. (JTB PHILIPPINES) Website. This page, together with the other information referred to on it, states the terms and conditions (the “Terms”) on the use of the website: https://ph.jtbtrip.com (the “Website” or “Site”) whether as a guest or a registered user (the “User”). Users of this Website must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into valid and binding contracts. Please read these Terms carefully before ordering any Products and Services from the Site. By using the Website, the User indicates that they accept these Terms and that they agree to abide by them.

Yuchengco Centre, 26th & 25th Streets, Brgy. Bonifacio South, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City 1634, Metro Manila, Philippines.

The content of the pages of this website is for general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice. Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness, or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. The User acknowledges that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.

The User’s use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at their own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be the User’s responsibility to ensure that any products, services, or information available through this website meet the User’s specific requirements.

From time to time, this website may also include links to other websites. These links are provided for the convenience of the User to provide further information. The Site does not signify that we endorse the website(s). We have no responsibility for the content of the linked website(s).

The User may not create a link to this website from another website or document without COMPANY’s prior written consent. The use of this website and any dispute arising out of such use of the website are subject to the laws of the Philippines.

The Company reserves the right to change these Terms at any time without notice to the User by posting changes online. The Users are responsible for regularly reviewing information posted online to obtain timely notice of such changes. The continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the amended Terms.

2. Products & Services
The Site offers travel and tour products and services such as, but not limited to, tour packages, hotel accommodations, tickets, day tours, experiences, railway passes, novelties, visa services, travel insurance, travel Wi-Fi rentals, etc.

3. Reservations on the Site
3.1 Acceptance by the Company of reservations made by the User will depend on the availability of the hotel/accommodation, activities, goodies, rail passes, tickets, packaged tours, and other related travel and tour products and services that are available at that specified time.

3.2 Acceptance by the Company is formalized by sending a confirmation of reservation by e-mail to the User.

3.3 Purchase of rail passes, admission tickets, theme park tickets, and other tickets which require Courier Delivery Service should be at least ten (10) days before the User’s departure or service date; otherwise, the purchase should be made directly in the Company’s registered office address.

3.4 Reservations of seat-in-coach or day tours should be at thirty (30) days before the service date; for Collective & Group departures, reservations should not be less than forty-five (45) days (unless otherwise specified on the travel service agreement signed at the time of the booking or reservations.

3.5 Processing reservations for credit card transactions received on weekdays after 1700H (Philippine Standard Time) on business days, weekends, and holidays will be processed the next working day.

4. Price, Payment, and Issuance of Voucher

4.1. Prices
4.1.1 The travel and tour products and services description and terms on the Website specify the services included in the rate or price for each service arrangement. The prices on the website are inclusive of 12% Value-Added Tax (VAT). Prices are shown in PHP. 

4.1.2 The User should be aware that the local authorities in certain countries can impose additional taxes and surcharges (tourist tax, city tax, etc.) which must be paid locally. the User is exclusively responsible for paying such additional taxes and surcharges whenever applicable.

4.1.3  Unless explicitly stated otherwise, prices and rates do not include excess baggage charges, visa processing fees, travel insurance, or any personal expenses (laundry, telephone, beverages, room service, tips, etc.), nor excursions or the use of sports facilities, nor any more general costs that are not explicitly included in the confirmation of reservation.

4.1.4 The prices shown on the Website can be changed at any time without prior notice. Such changes do not apply to confirmed and already accepted reservations.

4.1.5 If the Company and/or its Supplier becomes aware of or is notified of any fraud or illegal activity associated with the payment for the booking, the booking will be canceled and the User will be liable for all the expenses arising from such cancellation, without prejudice to any action that might be taken against him/her.

4.1.6 Price quotations are subject to change without notice. If for any reason the price quoted is not correct, the Company will contact the User for authorization. Tips, gratuities, baggage, beverages, or food not described in the product’s description, and all other purchases of a personal nature are not included.

4.2. Payment

4.2.1 All travel and tour products and services offered on the Website must only be settled through the Company’s accepted payment methods and channels.

4.2.2 The website may process credit card payments (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, Discover, and UnionPay), selected e-Wallet applications, bank and wire transfers, and cash and check deposits only.

4.2.3 The Billers will be listed as “JTB ASIA PACIFIC PHIL. CORP.” on the credit card statement.

4.2.4 All payments in United States Dollars (USD) and Japanese Yen (JPY) will be processed and automatically converted to Philippine Peso (PHP).

4.2.5 Any bank charges on top of the total tour fare billed by the Company must be settled by the User directly to their issuing bank. The Company is not liable for the additional charges billed by the banks beside the total tour fare collected by the Company.

4.2.6 For other currencies, the price is indicative, and the amount will be charged in USD at the conversion rate applicable on the date of the User’s booking and issuing country.

4.3. Issuance of Voucher

4.3.1 After payment, the Company will send a service confirmation or service voucher to the User’s registered email address on the Site. The voucher must be printed, as proof of purchase, and will be presented to the Company when redeeming the services or products purchased on the Site.

4.3.2 All information regarding the travelers should be correctly given at the time of booking.

4.3.3 All requests for modifications or amendments must be sent by e-mail to the Company at “leisure_jtbmnl.ph@jtbap.com.” There is no guarantee that such modification will be implemented as desired, particularly on reserved Train Tickets, timed entry tickets/admission, and other travel and tour products and services of the same nature.

4.3.4 The Company cannot be held responsible for any problem that may happen if the User does not receive or carefully read the service confirmation or service voucher. In case the User has not received the service confirmation or service voucher, the User must notify the Company at least forty-eight (48) hours after completing the booking from the Site.

5. Delivery

5.1. Users who purchased travel and tour products and services that require physical vouchers issued and verified by the Company may request for its delivery via a courier service provider to their nominated mailing address for an additional charge. Any delay, damage, loss, mishandling, and other circumstances arising from the courier service once it is turned over to the third-party courier service provider will not be the liability of the Company.

5.2 The Company will advise the User with the tracking number of documents or package once it is turned over to the third-party courier service provider. It is the User's responsibility to make a follow-up regarding the status of the document sent for delivery.

5.3 The Company will not be liable for any travel or tour arrangements that will be affected arising from Clause 5.1. The number of days it is expected to receive the documents or package from the third-party courier service provider is not guaranteed even if urgent or expedited service is requested. This is out of the Company’s control and the User must communicate with the third-party courier service provider directly.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

6.1 Except otherwise stated, any travel and tour products and services canceled without due notice are subject to a 100% cancellation fee forty-five (45) days before the service date.

6.2 The Company shall charge applicable cancellation penalties, service fees, and surcharges imposed by our suppliers and payment gateway systems. The Users will be advised accordingly with the breakdown of refundable amounts and charges or penalties.

6.3 Client’s Cancelation of Services

6.3.1 All Cancellations of Services should be sent via e-mail at leisure_jtbmnl.ph@jtbap.com. The Company will then issue a written Cancellation Confirmation taking into account the applicable Terms & Conditions of the original reservations made.

6.3.2 The Company will not be responsible for any cancellation not received and not confirmed back by the customer and its corresponding cancellation or no-show charges that will be chargeable.

6.4 Refund Policy

6.4.1 After the commencement of the Tour, no refund will be made with respect to unused services, products, tickets, ground transportation, meals, accommodation, admission to tourist attractions, or sightseeing tours not utilized by the User.

6.4.2 All details of the confirmed refund will be coordinated directly to the User’s registered e-mail address on the Site.

6.4.3 Charges applied by the payment gateway systems are non-refundable.

6.4.4 Refund processing will take at least four (4) weeks upon completion of the documentary requirements such as original receipt issued, client refund information sheet and travel documents issued. A confirmation e-mail with proof of refund will be sent to the User once the process is completed by the Company.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

7.1 The Company’s Site is limited.

7.2 The Company acts only as an agent for the Users in all functions pertaining to tours, attractions, hotel reservations and accommodations, restaurants, meals and services, sightseeing tours, and transportation of whatever nature, and assumes no liability for injury, loss, damage, accident, delay or inconveniences which may occur either by reason of a defect or as acts of government or other civil authorities (war, civil disturbances, strikes, etc.) or from any cause beyond the Company’s control.

7.3 The Company will not assume responsibility for the loss or additional expenses due to delay or changes in schedule or other causes.

7.4 The Company and its suppliers reserve the right to vary itineraries to improve each tour for the User’s enjoyment and advantage.

7.5 The Company and its suppliers reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any tour departure in accordance with operational requirements.

7.6 The Company shall not be held responsible or liable for any expense, reimbursement, or refund of tour fares if the User is refused entry by any country or deported for any reason.

7.7 The Company shall not be held responsible or liable for any damages, accident, loss, delay, theft, quarantine, customs regulation, acts of God, death, or injury arising from the negligence or conduct of the Customer or arising from any misdemeanor, breach, default, an act of otherwise of any third-party suppliers.

7.8 The User shall indemnify the Company from any and all liability, manner of action, cause of action, a sum of money, damages, claims, and demands whatsoever in law or in equity which I or my heirs, successors, and assigns had, now have, or shall have in respect of any loss or damage arising from or in connection with any Tour commenced by any third party or any of the User’s participants.

8. Health, Passport, & Visas

The User must check the appropriate documents for their planned and booked journey or travel especially (but without limitation) if they booked tours, packages, or transfers - including flights or visits to a country different from the country of departure. The User must bring their passport (with visa if necessary), valid identification card, and any other necessary travel documents. No refund will be granted in case of lack or loss of travel documents.

9. Smoking Restriction

Smoking onboard coaches are strictly prohibited. Local policies and enforced regulations from the destinations to be visited and facilities or services to be used by the User must be strictly followed.

10. Complaints

10.1 The Company acts as a mediating company between Users and its tour operators or suppliers. In the unlikely event that the User is not satisfied with the Company’s travel and tour arrangements booked from the Site, the User may file a complaint within one (1) month from the date of service. 

10.2 Written documentation must be sent to the company via electronic mail (email) at “leisure_jtbmnl.ph@jtbap.com” and this will be subject to investigation.

10.3 Complaints received beyond the terms in Clause 10.1 can no longer be entertained and will not be eligible for any refund.

10.4 Any booking made with the Company will be governed by and subject to the Terms and Conditions. No variation to these Terms and Conditions shall be of any effect unless made in writing by and with the authority of the Company.

11. Site Information

The information about destinations and events is subject to change according to the circumstances of the facilities. Thus, any person who would like to find out updated information such as fees, date, and time is advised to confirm with the facilities beforehand. Although we do our best to handle the published information with great attention, The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity, usefulness, and safety of the information. The Company shall not be liable for any damage or misunderstanding borne by the utilization of the published information. Users are advised to use the information as an indication only, as there might be instances where the spot location information is inaccurately interpreted on the map. Unauthorized reproduction of the published content is prohibited.
